Something Beautiful or Humorous: Apples that Eli painted

I just can't keep things a surprise

I've been hesitating to share these because some of you will see one of these as our Christmas card, but we got our pictures taken with the extended family in Utah this past August, and they turned out really well. Might I recommend Susan Richins Photography to any of you in Utah? One thing I liked about her was not only did she have the expertise & equipment to take beautiful photos, but she was good at coaching us to stand a certain way, or got our kids to stop fake smiling, so we ended up liking the finished products. She sent me these that I could share on the web.

Which do you think would make a good Christmas card?

They are just striking. I love all of them. So glad we got to catch up when you were here. It was a highlight of my summer. Miss you and wish we could chat more often. Thanks for staying up late!

Wow. I don't know. I like to have everyone in the card. And though my favorite is the one of you and Chris, that would be weird to leave the kids out of the card. So maybe the last one. Though the first one would be great too. Oh, it is a tough one. You look great in them, by the way, Natalie.

I like all of them. I'm a big fan of the whole family being in the Xmas pic, but I really like your kids' expressions in the third picture. But that picture has too much of the big urn in it--great pic, but distracting from your beautiful kids. I -really- like the one you had put up on FB as the next catalog pic. I lI really like the last one, too, but it doesn't do justice to your glam look that ROCKS in the first picture. Bottom line, if you have to choose one, choose the first. My $0.02.

Darling! I love the Eli leaning-looking-totally-GQ. Your children look very cute. And Natalie, you look outstanding and so thin. What's your secret. Oh that I had any discipline. You really do look amazing.

I can act surprised when you send out cards in December, too!!!! I LOVE the first one, but somehow, you'll have to slip the 3rd one in there, too. Oh, so much fun to have photo shoots turn out good. And, might I add----YOU LOOK FABULOUS!!!!

And strangely, but not too weird in the small LDS world, I saw your sister, Hillary, as a friend on my niece's FB (Ashley Greenwood, now Ashley Jensen). Wow, Ashley and I have such good taste in friends.

such cute pics... I love them all and would vote one with all of you in the pic, but I do really love the one of you and Chris! Why not do 3? a family one, kids and parents one... that's my vote!

you up for lunch this week or next? lets set a date!
