Virginia Tech

Again, another tragedy for Americans (Were there victims from other nationalities? I'm saying Americans because it just seems unpatriotic not to listen to the news & grieve with the rest of the country), that makes you want to fly your flag, and be nicer to the everyday strangers you see in the grocery store-- for the simple reason that you feel so helpless. You can't do anything else but pray and show support for the victims, and appreciate more the beauty of human life.

More than one tear has been shed in this household for those VT students, teachers & their families.

I was so shocked and sad to hear about the shooting at VA Tech. It was all the more disturbing because I had just barely finished reading a book about a school shooting. I highly recommend it, although it is disturbing and sad. It's called "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult. It definatly made me wonder about what would put a person in such a bad place. We've talked about bullying and being popular many times around here since I read it. On that note- hope you have a great day, Natalie!

It is terrible. And yes, to your question, there were many other nationalities. One of the classrooms that he hit was comprised mainly of foreign students.
